Michael Azmi-Loe, CEO of Azmi Associates, has built a 34 year career in Commercial Banking, (Bank of Tokyo, Lloyds Bank International, Citibank, Samba, Commercial Bank of Qatar) in multiple geographies (Latin America, Asia, UK, GCC) with various roles (Operations, Relationship Manager, Remedial Management, Risk Management, Global Project Management, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Executive Officer). He has a vast and in depth knowledge and experience of the Risk Process in all it’s dimensions. In the latter years of his career, as a Chief Risk Officer and subsequently as a Chief Executive Officer of a large private sector bank within the GCC, he has gained particular additional insight into critical aspects of the relationship between the Risk Management Organization, and it’s Partner Organizations and Business Units within the bank, and how to make these work to optimum benefit for the Client bank.
